Today, the notes of Johannes Brahms’s 2nd piano concerto filled the Zurich Tonhalle. Hélène Grimaud has joined forces with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and conductor Lionel Bringuier for three performances, all featuring this monumental work (June 22, 23 and 24). She will then perform Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1, as well as the 2nd, with Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Paavo Järvi at the Essen Philharmonie in Germany (June 28 & 29).
