Duo has just been released across Europe and the new album has already been chosen by both Deutschland Radio and Kulturradio in Germany as CD of the week.

Deutschland Radio described the performance as “spirited, sensitive and perfectly balanced” whilst Kulturradio commented “With Duo Sol Gabetta and Hélène Grimaud have created an impressive debut together. With a keen sense of restraint and drama, individual and yet united. These two musicians have managed to find a common musical language and to gain a strong force of opposites.”
