Following the success of their collaborative venture at the Park Avenue Armory in New York – the breathtaking “streams become… tears become…” – Hélène Grimaud and Turner Prize-winning artist Douglas Gordon will work their magic again in a new venue. This time at HOME, the Manchester International Festival’s newest theater. In Neck of the Woods Hélène shares the stage with legendary actress Charlotte Rampling (The Night Porter, Broadchurch) in a performance that combines a startling collision of curated music, visual art, and theater. Written by New York-based novelist and playwright Veronica Gonzalez Peña, the piece unveils a complex portrait of that iconic and mythical animal, the wolf.
The performances run 10 – 18 July, 2015.
