Hélène Grimaud and Jan Vogler will livestream exclusive recital to benefit wolves

Update June 19:
If you missed the live webcast, you can view the recorded recital featuring Atka the wolf and an introduction by actor Richard Gere on the Wolf Conservation Center website.

On June 14, 2012 Hélène Grimaud will join famed cellist and friend Jan Vogler for a unique recital at Bedford Post – the inn and restaurant owned by actor and environmental activist Richard Gere – in Bedford, New York.

All proceeds from the recital and live webcast will go directly to the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY. The Center was founded by Hélène over a decade ago, and is committed to conservation, education and species survival.

The special performance will feature selections from Schumann, Brahms, Debussy and Shostakovich. But fans of Grimaud and Vogler who are not in the New York area need not miss out. The recital, along with an appearance from ambassador wolf Atka, will be webcast live. Fans, music lovers and wolf supporters from around the world can sign up in advance to enjoy the webcast and be a part of this not-to-be-missed event.
