Hélène Grimaud and Sol Gabetta will appear live on the new Harald Schmidt Show on 4 September in Germany.
Their appearance kicks off the new season and a new look show as Harald Schmidt joins Sky TV to launch his late night show (22.15).
Harald Schmidt has been one of Germany’s most prolific talk show hosts since he first aired in 1995. Modelled on the David Letterman show, he is a house-hold name who often takes to the piano to accompany his guests. However on this occasion he will leave Hélène and Sol to take centre stage and perform from their new upcoming album “Duo” (to be released by Deutsche Grammophon in October) and to interview them about their joint collaboration.
