Having recently made her debut performing Brahms’ Second Piano Concerto in Amsterdam and Cologne, Hélène Grimaud joined forces with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jakub Hruša for a further two performances.

Reviewing the Stockholm concerts the Svenska Dagbladet commented: “The challenging solo part requires a pianist with something of the brutality of a Horowitz … the evening’s soloist, Hélène Grimaud, was the titan adult. The performance had focus and clarity … and both wit and grace.”
