Tant mieux que ce duo n’en soit pas resté à un coup unique, constate-t-on en écoutant le disque qui est né de cette rencontre. Trois Fantasiestücke de Schumann au souffle généreux, une Première sonate de Brahms au ronronnement profond, une tardive Sonate de Debussy entre rires et mélancolie, et pour couronner le tout, une ardente Sonate de Chostakovitch, dans laquelle les virtuoses bravent braises et étincelles avec une agilité féline.
